Although differences between the two bodies may continue. ib- Wellington Trades and Labor. - > uncil has not decided to cancel its affiliation with the Alliance of Labour. Whether the question will be again raised remains to be seen, but it was not officially considered at the annual meeting of the council on Thursday night. As the result of the meeting the following will be Trades Council officers for the year:-—President, Mr. W. Bomley; vice-president, Air. w. Atkinson; secretary, Mr. F. 11. Cornwell; executive, Messrs. F. Geague, E. Kennedy, J. Tucker, G. W.“ Whippv, T Pyne; auditor, Air. H. Bolton.
