WILT THOU.
THEATRICAL COUPLE WED QUIETLY TELLING THE REGISTRAR : Just a few little words . . . but j they transformed Mr. Garnet Carroll, j Auckland manager for John Fuller and I Sons into a married man and Miss j Catherine Stewart-Elliott, of the j Freddie Forbes Musical Comedy Company, into his wife at 3.15 p.m. yesterday. The deed was done at the office of the registrar of marriages. There it was that the happy couple said the words that removed them from the ranks of the single. Miss M. Duncan acted as bridesmaid, while Mr. Ray Fuller watched the bridegroom’s interests as best man. “Gee! We just made up our minds to get married here at noon,” said the happy bride to The Sun. “We intended to marry in Australia. Look! Here’s all my Australian money!” She was very excited—but very j happy. j , “Just a quiet wedding,” explained the i bridegroom. “We didn’t know anything about getting married and we’ve just learned all the legal twists there are about the process.”
