JUDGES’ AND EXHIBITORS’ GUIDE A publication of considerable interest to dairymen lias been issued by the New Zealand Friesian Association in the “Judges* and Exhibitors* Guide.” Dealing principally with the points to be looked for in selecting heavy producing strains, it is a very handy guide for all farmers who aim at improving their herds and who hope at some time to bring animals forward to A. and P. shows. A nuro her of special articles by world dairying authorities help to make up the value of the publication. Produced under the direction of Mr. J. P. Kalaugher, secretary of the New Zealand Friesian Association, the work is well up to the standard which can be expected by all who know this energetic Friesian enthusiast.
