She has a general cargo for discharge at Auckland and Australian ports. GABRIELLA FROM MELBOURNEvThe Union Company’s steamer GabrielLa is expected from Melbourne, via Devonport (Tasmania), during the week-end. She will unload her general merchandise cargo at King's Wharf. TOFUA DUE ON MONDAY.—Having left Suva at midday on Thursday tb Union Company's Island steamer Tofua is due at Auckland on Monday afternoon. She- will berth at Queen's Whag-f to land passengers, mails and cargo from Tonga, Samoa and Fiji. THE PORT WAIKATO.—The new intercolonial motor-vessel Port Waikato with a full cargo of white pine from "Whangarei and Hokianga, left Hokianga for Sydney yesterday morning. After discharge the vessel will proceed' to Port Stephens to load poles for Auckland. ULIMAROA LEAVES SYDNEY.—TI Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney for Auckland vesterdav afternoon with passengers, ‘mails and care. The vessel is due on Tuesdav morning anil owing to next Fridav being a holidnv (Good Friday) she will sail on her return trip to Sydney on Thursday.

THE WAIHEMO.—The Union Company's Waihemo cleared Westport at 7 a.m. on Wednesday for Vancouver, via Suva, where she will load during - May for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, New Plymouth, and probably Nelson. GUNBAR CHARTERED.—The Gunbar, which has been laid up in Wellington for some time, has been chartered from Richardson and Company by the Anchor i Company, and was placed on the slip i on Thursday for cleaning and painting. : The vessel will be recommissioned today _ for trade, mainy in apples, between Nelson, Motueka, Mapua and Wellington. PAKEHA SAILS DAYBREAK—The Shaw, Sa-vill and Albion Company’s steamer Pakeha, now at Central Wharf completing her loading for Rotterdam and London, is to be dispatched for those ports at daybreak tomorrow, according to advice received from her agent, A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd. The vessel proceeds via the Panama Canal. RANGJTATA LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON.—CabIed news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that its motor-liner Rangitata, en route from London, cleared Southampton yesterday with passengers and mails for New Zealand and general .cargo for discharge at Wellington. Auckland and Bluff. She is due at Wellington on May 14. CORNWALL AT LONDON.—The Federal Line steamer Cornwall is reported to have reached London last Tuesday after a prolonged voyage of two months from Auckland. The vessel sailed from Auckland on Februarj* 6 and on March 3 she was reported to have stranded at Curacao. Salvage operations detained the vessel for 19 days at Curacao before the voyage could be resumed. PORT HARDY TO BERTH.—Heather, Roberton, Ltd., advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line vessel Port Hardy, which arrived yesterday morning from London and anchored off Motuihi Island to unload a quantity of explosives, is expected to leave there this afternoon for Auckland. She is expected to berth at Prince’s Wharf at about 5 p.m. and on Monday morning I will start discharging the local portion of her general cargo. It is hoped to dispatch the Port Hardy on Thursday evening next for New Plymouth and Wellington to complete unloading. V/ELLINGTON - LYTTELTON FERRY SERVICE.—The Union Company advises that the Maori, on her arrival at Lyttelton on June 4, will withdraw for her annual overhaul and survey. The Manama. which is due at Wellington on June 2 from Sydney, will leave again the following evening for Lyttelton, where she will take the Maori’s place in the ferry service, leaving there on June 4 for Wellington. The Wahine will withdraw for her survey and overhaul on her arrival at Lyttelton on June 10. the Maori taking her place. The Wahine will resume her running on June 19 from Lyttelton. The Maori, which will arrive at Lyttelton that morning, will, make a daylight trip back to Wellington, leaving there again that night for Lyttelton, thus | picking up her usual running. The t Mamma will withdraw on her arrival - at Wellington on June 19 and will pick up j her running in the intercolonial .service, leaving Wellington on June. 20 for Sydney.
