COST OF PROHIBITION
SENATE IN U.S.A. VOTES £7,200,000 TO ENFORCE NO DEBATE
Reed. 9.35 a.m. WASHINGTON, Thurs. The Senate, without a word of debate, approved a £7,200,000 direct appropriation for prohibition enforcement next year, which is the same figure the House of Representatives set.
