TWO JAGUARS FROM NORTHERN BRAZIL have been brought to Auckland by the steamer Port Hardy, which anchored off Motuihi this morning on its arrival from London. The male jaguar was christened “Felix” by the crew. His mate (shown above in her cage) did not make many friends, however, and, so far, remains nameless.
