BUILDERS V. MERCHANTS

ANNUAL BOWLING MATCH The fifth annual bowling match between Builders and Merchants was , played at the Auckland Club s green yesterday and resulted in a win for the Builders by 118 points to 105. At the conclusion of the match the miniature ladder, presented by the Wilson Portland Cement Company, was handed over to Mr. V. A. Coyle by Mr. J. W. Hardley, on behalf of the Merchants. RAWHITI CLUB * Members of the Rawhiti Bowling Club will be unable to play on their own green tomorrow owing to the fact that the green has been turned over, but the Auckland Club has very thoughtfully come to the rescue with an offer that any Rawhiti players may get games at the Auckland green if they so desire. The Auckland Club's offer is very much appreciated by the Rawhiti members, and illustrates the line spirit of comradeship that exists between the clubs. The Rawhiti green will be available the fol- ' lowing week. • TOURNEY AT ONEHUNGA ! Sixteen teams took part in the final midweek full-rink tournament conducted by the Onehunga Bowling Club. They were divided into two sections of eight and seven games of nine heads were played.
