Most of the outstanding scenes of “Paris,” the First National and Vitaphone special production, starring Irene Bordoni, famous French comedienne, are made in technicolour—the wonderful new process which has finally perfected the art of photography in natural colours.
see a famous Parisian musichall during the performance of one of those glittering revues for which the City of Light is famous. These colour effects are not only startlingly realists0 — the y are utterly beautiful. All the settings and furniture of “Paris” are futuristic, while the gorgeous gowns are the last word in fashion, for Irene Bordoni is not only an actress, but a creator of fashions.
