BRANCH FORMED AT MERCER A branch of th© NTew Zealand Labour Party was formed at Mercer on Wednesday evening-, following upon a public meeting, held in the Town Hall, which was addressed by Mr. M. J. Savage, M.P. The subjects embraced by the address included, unemployment, finance and the Labour Party’s land policy. A number of members enrolled with the newly-formed branch and provisional officers and an executive of 12 were elected to organise the district.
