RETIRED JUDGE MUST FACE CRITICISM SCENE IN PARLIAMENT CANBERRA, Thursday. A scene occurred in the House of Representatives this afternoon. Mr. J. C. Eldridge, Labour membe, for Martin, at
tacked Sir Adriai. Knox, formerly Chief Justice of the High Court He declared that Sir Adrian had made a sensational exit from the judiciary after liis hand had been exposed and after having become a beneficiary to the extent
of £1,000,000 under the will of a man who had thrown thousands of families into misery and suffering, the late John Brown. Opposition members shouted protests, whereupon the Chairman of Committee ruled that judges who resigned were exposed to criticism and enjoyed no Parliamentary protection.
