CRYSTAL PALACE, MT. EDEN

A youth who joins a band of society thieves and turns pseudo crook solely for the purpose of running down the murderers of his father, is the type of role played by Paul Page in “The G-irl From Havana,” now at the Crystal Palace Theatre. The opening scenes are in Los Angeles, where the society crooks pull off a big robbery of a jewellery store with the aid of a do" llee to Havana, and there a girl detective picks up the trail, with tense situations piling up one after the other. The criminal band is finally rounded up and the murderer revealed, but not until all picturegoers experience many thrills. In addition to PauJ Page and Lola Lane (remembered for their portrayals in the leading roles in "Speakeasy”), the cost includes Kenneth Thompson. Natalie Moorhead and Warren Hymncr.
