Arrangements are being made to open a fund to finance the campaign. LABOUR SEAT VACANT BY-ELECTION SOON British Official Wireless RUGBY, Tuesday. A very interesting by-election will take place shortly at West Fulham one of the London boroughs. Dr. G. E. Spero (Labour) won the seat at the last General Election from the Conservatives, who had held it f6r many years. Now he has resigned owing to ill-health. The new Labour candidate is Mr. Banfielcl, a member of the local Borough Council, who is very popular among the working class in the constituency.
