Mi*. A. B. Donald returned to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. r . F. Lunprstone, M.P. for Waimarino, was a passenger from Wellington to Taumarunui by the Limited today. The Kt. Hon. J. G. Coates. ■ Leader of the Opposition, accompanied by Mrs. Coates, left for Dargaville this morning. Mr. W. J Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo. and Mr. 31. G. R. Mason, M.P. for Auckland Suburbs, arrived in Auckland by the Limited today. The Rev. George Gibb, formerly of Knox Church, Parnell, and son of Dr. James Gibb, of Wellington, haa received a call to Trinity Church, Lancaster. England Mr. Thomas Marks, buyer in chief for the Auckland Meat Company, Ltd. leaves by the Maunganui on April 24 for an extended business tour of Great Britain, the Continent and America. He expects to be away for six months During his absence Mr. George Goodwin. a noted judge and enthusiast for choice quality fat stock, will be in control of the Meat Company’s buying operations.
