FOX DIES FOR MURDER OF HIS MOTHER NOTED CASE CLOSED LONDON, Tuesday. The execution took place this morn ing of Sidney Fox, who was sentenced to death on a charge of murdering his mother at Margate in October, 1929. Mrs. Morse, the respondent in the divorce action in which Fox was the co-respondent, and her 21-year-oid son, are now living at Cremorne, Sydney. Mrs. Morse’s father, aged 82. is associated with a big business in Sydney and also is a bank director. PODMORE’S APPEAL FAILS LONDON, Monday. The appeal has been dismissed of William Podmore against the death sentence imposed upon him on March 8 for the murder of Vivian Messiter, whose body was found in a garage at Southampton early last year.
