MANSE BURNED DOWN AT KAITANGATA WIFE DIED RECENTLY Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. Th© Presbyterian Manse, of ten rooms, at Kaitangata, was completely destroyed by fire early this morning. Th© Rev. Frank McDonald, who was th© only occupant, barely liad time to escape and snatch a few clothes. Mr. McDonald’s wife recently died while on holiday in Christchurch, and after his holiday Mr. McDonald’s health broke down, and he only resumed preaching last Sunday. He lost everything in the fire, including a lare and valuable collection of books. His furniture was all new. The insurances are not available.
