WILL PLAY LEAGUE

WELL-KNOWN HAWKE’S BAY FORWARD Three players who were formerly members of the Maori Agricultural College Rugby fifteen, Hawke’s Bay, will bo playing League in Auckland for City this season. Mita Watene, a cousin of S. Watene, the City fullback, will be an addition to the team. The third ex-M.A.C. player is City’s halfback, Willie Sliortland. Mita Watene is a well-known forward. He has played successfully for Hawke’s Bay and Mohaka. The two Watenes and Shorthand were members of the M.A.C. team when it hatl a Tahitian, a Samoan and a Fijian as members.
