PSITTACOSIS MENACE
“LITTLE CAUSE FOR FEAR’’ LAST BIRD TRACED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The medical officer of health, Dr. T. F. Telford, says he has now satisfied himself that he has traced the last of the 26 parrots from Nicaragua sold in Christchurch. The bird died on March 13. He said he considered that there was now little cause to fear a continued outbreak of psittacosis.
