CHANGE OF REGIME
SOUTH AUSTRALIA TO HAVE NEW PREMIER TRADE REVIVAL POLICY ADELAIDE, Monday. It. is likely that the new Premier will be Mr, L. IJ. Hill, who at present is leader of the Labour Party. He was a Minister in the Labour Cabinet of 1924 and Premier from August, 1926, to April, 1927. Mr. Hill says he will purs'ue a policy of moderation with a view to a revival of trade. Commenting on the fact that Labour had ousted the Liberal Government in South Australia, the Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Scullin, said this was the first State to vindicate the Federal Government’s policy in relation to finance.
