LEOPARD LIKES MUTTON
CUB ESCAPES TO BUSH AND RAVAGES N SW. SHEEP Reed. 11.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. 1 FARMERS in the Goulburn district are convinced that a cub leopard which escaped 15 months ago is responsible for the slaughter of sheep in Tallong. About a dozen sheep have been literally torn to shreds in the last few nights. People have reported having heard a strange roar at night, and one man said he saw a tiger in the bush.
