RAILWAY STATION SITE
NEEDS OF SOUTH SUBURBAN DISTRICTS DELEGATES TO MEET Mr. H. C. Ernest, president of the Papatoetoe Chamber of Commerce, presided over a meeting of representatives of the chamber and the Papatoetoe Welfare League last evening, when it decided to invite delegates from Manurewa, Papakura, Pukekohe and Otahuhu to a public meeting to be held in Papatoetoe next Monday evening to further the claims of the South Suburban districts that facilities bo provided for the terminus of the railway traffic to be nearer to Queen Street than provided for by the new station. Arrangements have been made for representatives of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce and the Railway Department to be present.
