N.Z. AT EMPIRE GAMES
NO MONEY FOR ATHLETES Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Wellington Athletic Association has nominated Munro, discus, Ramson, hurdles, and Hill, walks, for the New Zealand team at the Empire Games. One member also jokingly said he thought he could go as manager, the point of which remark is that as ail the money so far available has been turned over to the rowing eight it is unlikely that any other New Zealand representatives will really go. As another member said, "There won’t be any money, but it is an honour to lse nominated.” ....
