FALL FROM BALCONY

After falling from a balcony on the second floor of the Wallace Ward yesterday a male patient at the Auckland Hospital was picked up in a flower bed, suffering from two fractured ribs and minor bruises. At 5.30 a.m., some of the other inmates noticed the man, who was admitted to the hospital on March 28, on the balcony and immediately informed the night nurse. When she arrived on the scene the man had disappeared over the balcony.
