NEW SYDNEY LOAN
NEGOTIATIONS IN NEW YORK United PA.—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORIC, Sunday. A syndicate of financial firms will shortly offer for public subscription a loan of between 5,000,000 and 5,000,000 dollars in 55 per cent, bonds, with a currency of 20 years, for the Sydney Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Board. The issue will be guaranteed as to principal and interest by the Government of New South Wales. Proceeds of the loan, it is understood, aro to be used for the construction of additional water, sewerage and drainage works, or to fund floating indebtedness incurred for such purposes.
