PAPATOETOE PARTY
MR. AND MRS. H. C. ERNEST ENTERTAIN The residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Ernest, Station Road, Papatoetoe, was prettily decorated with bowls of autumn flowers and Virginia creeper on Friday evening, when a very happy time was spent. Several very amusing competitions were held, the -winners being Mrs. A. B. Jameson. Mrs. E. Bond, and Miss Audrey Willerton. Pleasing musical items were contributed by Miss Cocker, Miss TL Wyllie, Miss A. Willerton, Miss L. Roseveare, and Mrs. W. Young. Mrs. J. J. Valentine acted as accompanist. Mrs. Ernest and Mrs. R. E. Fry acted as hostesses, the former wearing patterned velvet in shades of blue and rose, relieved with blue georgette. , and the latter wore a pretty frock of nut brown pleated crepe de chine, finished with a floral fichu.
