APPRECIATION AMONG many visitors to the A Waikato trotting fixture on Saturday was Mr. W. Garrard, the trotting expert of the Christchurch “Star.” “Garrie,” as he is famil'arly known among the sporting fraternity, was on “leave,’ a /] d thoroughly enjoyed the outing. He firade some very complimentary remarks in reference to the hospitality of the club, which he remarked to “Abaydos” reminded him of the West Coast. The visitor greatly appreciated the manner in which the officials attended to the requirements of the Press representatives.
