FRENCH AIRMAN KILLED IN TESTING MACHINE
SPEED RECORD HOLDER PARIS, Friday. The French aviator, Prevost, who last month wrested from Germany the world’s seaplane speed records for 100 and 200 kilometres, was killed while he was testing a triple-engined seaplane. Prevost was flying at a height of 1,200 feet when part of the fuselage broke. The machine dived directly into the sea. It has not been recovered.
