GRAND THEATRE

“The Greyhound Limited,” which heads the current programme at the Grand Theatre, is a Warner Brothers’ production dealing with the adventures of an enginedriver.. His endeavours to save a friend from wasting his money on a girl who cares nothing for him lead to an estrangement between the two, and the picture deals with the exciting incidents which ensue before matters reach a conciliatory conclusion. The second picture, “Caught in the Fog,” unfolds the story of a band of criminals who organise a series of thefts from the yachts of rich men. May McAvoy and Conrad Nagel give admirable portrayals in the principal roles. Mack Swain and Hugh Herbert are the two comedians, who provide a good deal of amusement.
