EVENING WEDDING

PRETTY CEREMONY AT NORTHCOTE BRADBOURNE—HURLEY On Wednesday evening at St. John’s ■ Anglican Church, Xorthcote, the mar- j riage was celebrated of Rita, elder | ! daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. j Hurley, Vincent Road, Xorthcote, to j Albert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. j Bradbourne, Stafford Road, Xorthcote. • The ceremony was performed by the j Rev. F. W. Wilkes, while Miss Isabel ! Hunt presided at the organ. The bride’s frock was of ivory geor- j gette, with full flared skirt reaching | to the ankles at the back, tiny satin I frills showed prettily at the panel ; opening, and silver beaded band and j medallions gracefully finished a charm- I ing frock. A veil of fine tulle edged with | silver was held in place by a juliet I cap of silver tissue and orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of chrysan- j themums and carnations. Misses Joyce and Mairie Hurley, : sister and cousin of the bride respectively, wore frocks in replica in apricot shot taffeta, with deep uneven hem of ; tulle and large hip bow, and the tulle headdress of the same toning with j silver trimming. They carried bou- s quets in tangerine shades. Mi’. George Hart acted as best man, j while Mr. Eric Hurley, brother of rlie j bride, was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Masonic Hall, where Mrs. Hurley received her guests wearing a dress of navy crepe de chine relieved with marigold, and leghorn hat trimmed with shaded georgette.
