Miss Peggy Robertson Chooses Lovely Mist-Rose Gown
PRETTIEST rose-mist nincm ar Peggy Robertson, elder d Robert 31. Robertson, late of Ca: land, for her wedding yesterda Ashburton. Canterbury, son of Airs. Ryburn. of Christchurch. The ceremocy was performed at St. ? c Luke's Church. P.emuera, by the Rev. 1 G. M. Thomson, assisted by the Rev. R. M. Ryburn, father of the bridegroom. The bride’s lovely frock was fashioned with slim-fitting corsage and widely-flared skirt dipping t<j the wearer’s ankles at either side. Her j becoming upturned felt hat was also j of soft rose-mist shade, and she car- . - t ried a bouquet of pink carnations. j } As attendant maid, Miss Ina Rob- | e ertson, sister of the bride, wore a dis- c tinctive gown of coral pink moire, with j charming felt hat to tone. nd taffeta was chosen by Miss laughter of 3lr. and Mrs. nterbury. at present of Auekly to Dr. Wilfred Ryburn. of : the Rev. R. M. Ryburn and fdin, brother o? the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Robertson entertained the guests at Cargen, Mrs. Robertson wearing a smart gown of black chantilfy lace and ivory ninon, with draped skirt, and finger-tip length coatee. Her small black hat was of soft felt. Airs. R. AI. Ryburn, mother of the bridegroom, had on a black satin beaute gown, the skirt dipping unevenly. A hat of black hatter’s plush completed her toilette. Airs. Alarshal Gray, sister of the bridegroom, was in flowered chiffon in tones of brown and orange, with hat of the same shades.
