BRISK COMPETITION United P.A.—By Telegraph — C'opy right Reed. 12.13 p.m. LONDON, Wed. At the ■wool sales, 7,437 bales were offered, including’ 3,477 from New Zealand. Approximately 3.540 were sold. There was a limited selection of greasy Merinos, and a splendid offering of greasy crossbreds. Brisk competition ruled, and prices were firmly maintained. Xew Zealand greasy crossbreds.—Te Whara, lOd top, 9Sd average; Ranui, 10id, 9gd; Heart, touching 12£d.
