MORRINSVILLE COLLISION

MOTORISTS ESCAPE INJURY From Our Own Correspondent MORRINSVILLE, Today. A collision between two cars occurred at about 11 o’clock on Monday morning at the corner of Thorpe Streets, Morrinsville, near the High School. Mr. H. Money was driving his taxi with several passengers along Suudholme Street toward Morrinsville, when a car driven by Mr. F. Hampshire, of Kereone, came out of Thorpe Street. The taxi was struck on the left side and came to rest on its right side. Two glass panels were smashed and the roof broken open and the body extensively dented and twisted out of alignment. The front axle of Mr. Hampshire’s car was bent, and the mudguards dented. None of the occupants was injured.
