MUNICIPAL CONCERT

A fine musical programme of unusual merit will be presented in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next by the Municipal Band, with vocal assistance by Miss Alma McGruer. Numbers to be heard for the first time are the march “Father Time,' overture “Si J’etais Roi.” valse “Triste” and grand selection “Rienzi.” Several other popular selections will be played, and* instrumental solos rendered by Messrs. Fred Bowes, cornet, and Hal C. McLennan, flute. Miss Alma McGruer, who is shortly making an extended tour of Europe and America, will be the vocalist of the evening, and with Mrs. Ripley at the piano will sing some charming ballads.
