AKARANA LADIES’ CLUB The following' officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club: Captain, Miss R. McGee; vice-captain, Mrs. C. M. Cox; lion, secretary, Miss O. M. Darrach; hon. treasurer, Miss V. Clark; handicap manager, Miss M. Peet; committee, Misses G. Smith and W. Todd. It was decided to hold the opening day next Tuesday, when Canadian foursomes will be played, commencing at twelve o’clock, players to choose partners and opponents. AUCKLAND LADIES’ CLUB Members of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club took part in the monthly medal competition at Midldemore yesterday. Following -were the best scores returned: Seniors.—Mrs. Endean, 93, 16—77; Mrs. Green, 94, 15—79; Miss E. Wilson, 92, 12—SO; Miss R. McGovern, 98, IS—--80. -Juniors.—Mrs. Murphy, 93, 20—73; Miss E. Mahoney, 97, 24—73; Mrs. Trice, 98, 21 —77; Miss C. Rainger, 106, 29 —77; Mrs. E. Friedlander, 108, 29 — 79; Miss M. Neville, 105, 26 —79. , A bogey match will be played on Tuesday next. MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB Medal handicaps will be plained at Titirangi and One Tree Hill by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club on Saturday, lor which post entries will be received. The club will hold an open handicap tournament at the Titirangi links during the Easter holidays, commencing on Saturday, April 19. The programme consists of an Easter cup, group handicaps, and medal and bogey handicaps. MAUNGAKIEKIE LADIES’ CLUB Following is the result of the Canadian foursome medal match played by members of the Maungakiekie Ladies’ Golf Club at the One Tree Hill links yesterday: Mrs. O’Leary and Mrs. Spinley, 92, 22 —70; Mrs. Alison and Miss M. Bailey, 106, 34—72; Mrs. Bourke and Miss P. Lawrence, 100, 27 —73; Miss A. Grove and Miss J. Easton, 94, 20—74; Mrs. Wellsted and Mrs. Kilner, 102, 28 —74. A one-club and putter match will be held next Tuesday for trophies presented by Miss M. Haslett.
