ROTORUA RUGBY UNION

From Our Own Correspondent ROTORIJA, Tuesday. At a meeting of the management committee of the Rotorua Rugby union, Mr. T. £>. Robertson presiding, a motion supporting the New Zealand Rugby Union’s decision not to allow the English team’s matches to be broadcast, was lost. The opening of the season was fixed for April 26. Nominations of teams and registration of colours are to be hi the hands of the secretary by April • R was a &reed that all clubs pay their own travelling expenses. A working bee was arranged for laying out the grounds. The committee meets again on April 14 to finalise arrangements for the seven-a-side tournament.
