PARK TRUSTEES SUED

DRAINAGE BOARD TAKES ACTION “MENACE TO PUBLIC HEALTH” Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Before a magistrate this morning, the trustees of Monica Park were sued by the Christchurch Drainage Board for failing to comply with the requirements of the Drainage Act, and allowing sewage from their property to be discharged into an open drain. Counsel for the board said no adoquate arrangements were made, and the place was a menace to the public health. The hearing was adjourned until April 9.
