SCRIPTURE GIFT ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING HELD According: to the annual report which was submitted at the 43rd annual meeting of the Auckland Scripture Oift Association held last week, over schools took part in tho annual prize-giving in December. Interest in the association’s work was increasing and the output of books and prizes was being maintained. Hundreds of Bibles and Testaments and several hundred Christian prize books had been distributed, as well as gifts to hospitals and charitable institutions. Regret was expressed at the death of Mr. H. C. Heath, one of the association’s oldest supporters. Income during the year amounted to £IBO and there was a credit balance of £3O. The following officers were elected: Trust board, Messrs. A. A. Brown, J. Banbury, J. Fleming, B. C. Hercus, A. H. Leigh, T. Macky, T. R. Cameron; executive committee, Messrs. J. Banbury, A. A. Brown and B. C. Hercus.
