MISHAP ON SCOW
YOUNG MAN INJURED From Our Own Correspondent NGATEA, Monday. Mr. D. McKerchar, a young man whose parents reside at Horahia Road. Ngatea, had a narrow escape Irom death at Kerepeehi on Saturday afternoon. He was working on a scow which was discharging road metal when the breaking of a shackle caused the boom to fall on his head. Fortunetaly, it hit the side of the scow at the same time and the wound inflicted was not a very serious one. He was taken to his home and attended by Dr. T. Miller, of Turua.
