HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS, } available for return up to and including , 7th April, 1930, will be issued to Claudelands from Auckland, Glen Afton, To Kuiti and intermediate stations on direct line of route and to Hamilton from Paeroa, Cambridge and intermediate stations on direct line of route on sth April bytrains due to arrive Hamilton or Claudelands not later than 1.10 p.m. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS On SATURDAY, sth APRIL, special train leaves Newmarket for Claudelands at 6.51 a.m., Otahuhu 7.14, Papakura 7.45, Pukekohe 8.16, Mercer 8.56, Huntly 9.40, Xg-aruawahia 10.2, Frankton 10.36, arriving Claudelands 10.46 a.m. This train will, if required, stop only at Remuera, Green Lane, Ellerslie, Penrose, Otahuhu, Papatoetoe, Manurewa, Papakura, Drury, Paerata, Pukekohe, Tuakau, Pokeno, Mercer, Te Kauwhata, Rangiriri, Ohinewai, Huntly, Taupiri, Ngaruawahia, Horotiu and Frankton for passengers. RETURN TRAIN, stopping at same stations as outward train, leaves Claudelands 6.0 p.m., arriving Auckland 9.56 p.m. Special train, stopping at Newmarket, Frankton and Hamilton only leaves Auckland 7.55 a.m., Newmarket 5.4, arriving Claudelands 11.10 a.m. RETURN TRAIN, stopping only at Hamilton, Frankton. Mercer and Newmarket leaves Claudelands 5.40 p.m., arriving Auckland 8.55 p.m. The Express train from Rotorua will stop at Claudelands. leaves Frankton 5.5 p.m., Claudelands 5.45, arriving Paeroa 8.15 p.m. Usual 8.15 a.m. Glen Afton-Huntly train leaves Glen Afton 5.45 a.m., until arrive 9.30 a.m. (connects with 6.51 a.m. Newmarket-Claudelands train). Usual 6.0 p.m. Huntly-Glen Afton train leaves Huntly at 7.21 p.m. (after connecting with the 6.0 p.m return special from Claudelands), arriving Glen Afton S.lO p.m. Usual 7.10 p.m. Glen Afton-Huntly train leaves Glen Afton 8.30 p.m., Huntly arrive 9.15 p.m. Train leaves Frankton for Te Kuiti 6.20 p.m., arriving Te Kuiti 9.0 p.m. For further particulars see handbill or inquire at stations. • CORPORATION NOTICES OROUGH OF ONE TREE HILL. Notice is hereby given that the District Electors’ List, to be used in connection with the forthcoming Election for Mayor and Councillors, is in course of preparation, and will close on April 16, 1930. All adult British subjects who have been resident in the Dominion for at least one year, and in the Borough for the last three months, or who have occupied any building under a tenancy at a. rental of not less than £lO per year, are eligible for enrolment, in addition to ratepayers and the wife or husband of a ratepayer. Applications for enrolment must be made on printed forms, which are obtainable at the Council Office. It is not necessary for persons on the present ratepayers’ roll to forward claims for enrolment, but the wife or husband of the ratepayers (as the case may be) should do so. ELECTORAL JgOROUGH OF NEWMARKET. EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY. In pursuance of the provisions of The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, and its amendments, I hereby give notice that an Election will be held on THURSDAY, 24th day of April, 1930, for the purpose of Electing a Councillor for the Borough of Newmarket, in place of Mr. Albert Percy Wickins, resigned, and I hereby appoint the Town Clerk’s Office, Broadway, Newmarket, as the place, and SATURDAY, 12th day of April, 1930 (before noon), as the day for the nomination of Candidates for such Office.
