SUDDEN DEATH AT MINE
From Our Own Correspondent j HUNTLY, Today, j A weighman for Pukemiro Collieries, Ltd., Mr. Arthur Stammers. 31, died suddenly prior to commencement of work yesterday morning. He was a sufferer from pulmonary ■ phthisis caused through war wounds. He was a native of Plaistow, London, j and a resident of New* Zealand for eight t years. He leaves a Widow and four children. | The funeral took place at Kimihia . today, the mine being closed as a token j of respect*
