FLAX-CUTTER’S DEATH
HOOK SUPS AND CUTS NECK Press Association FOXTON, Today. Albert Acourt, a single man, a flaxcutter for Whitaunui, Ltd., while working in a swamp yesterday was fatally injured when his flax hook slipped from his hand. The blade struck the back of his neck, inflicting a. v. c*and three inches deep and cutting? through the main blood vessels. He was attended by the local doctor and taken to the Palmerston North Hospital, where he died *early this morning.
