YOUTHS AND LIQUOR
CHARGES AT OTAHUHU Ivan Roy Wilson and William I Frances, appeared before Mr. F. 11. j Levien, S.M., in the Otahuhu Police ; Court this morning, charged with uid- ! ing and abetting the licensee of the j Criterion Hotel in supplying liquor, and falsely representing that they j were 21 years of age or over, did * obtain intoxicating liquor on licensed L ! premises. The first charge was dis- ■ missed, and judgment was reserved on tho latter. I “I could not honestly say that I | would pick either of the defendants to |be Tinder 21. From all appearances they are over 21. It is a near thing, and ! always will be tuiless some evidence lis obtained when youths are being ; ; served with liquor,” said the magis- i _j trate, in giving his decision.
