HUNGER STRIKE OFF
MADAME HANAU ON BAIL AWAITING TRIAL PROTEST IN COURT PARIS, Saturday. The Court granted Madame Hanau, j who has been in prison for many i months awaiting trial, bail in £6,400. j She protested that this was too high, 5 as all her property had been made over to her creditors. Her trial was fixed for May 15. It is expected ! to last for a month. i When she heard that her application i for bail would be heard Madame | Hanau abandoned her hunger strike. I She is extremely weak.
