He declares that unless the Government accepts his 11 demands there will be a fight to a finish. The aim of Gandhi is complete independence for India. The general opinion is that as a result of a conference between MajorGeneral Sir F. Sykeo Vpvernor of Bombay, and the Viceroy, Lord Irwin, Gandhi will not be allowed to go beyond Surat on his march to the | coast.
