TRUCKS DERAILED

MAIN TRUNK BLOCKED EXPRESSES NOT DELAYED A derailment occurred on the Main Trunk line between Pokako and Erua at about 11 o’clock on Saturday evening. Pour wagons left the line during shunting operations, blocking the main line. Two goods trains were delayed until the line was cleared about 7 o’clock yesterday morning. The north and south-bound expresses had passed through before the accident occurred. The track was undamaged.
