HOSPITAL PICNIC
CHILDREN TAKEN TO HOWICK Forty children from the Auct.and Hospital spent a pleasant afternoon at Plowick on Saturday, where two hours were passed on the beach in community singing, recitations and musical numbers. The outing was ‘arranged by Messrs. Harrison and Gash, Ltd., who provided the transport, and a large birthday cake was given by Horace Bull, Ltd. This was cut and distributed on the beach.
