AUCKLAND DANCING SOCIETY

The annual picnic of the Auckland Highland and National Dancing Society, held at Pine Island yesterday, was a great success, a large crowd attending. STAR OF EDEN LODGE The Star of* Eden Lodge held the annual picnic at Motutapu on Saturday when about 50 members and friends spent a most enjoyable day. Among those present was P.G. Brother M. J. Bennett, one of the few surviving founders of the lodge. A lengthy sports programme, including special events for the children, was carried out.
