SUGGESTION OF FRAUD REMANDED ON BAIL George Joseph Silver was charged at the Police Court this morning with being a rogue and a vagabond, in that he endeavoured to impose on persons by fraudulently representing that he was promoting an Anti-Road Hog League. Silver, a carpenter, aged 30. of Point Chevalier, was remanded until Monday on his own recognisance of £lO. ‘‘He is a married man and I don’t think he will run away,” commented Chief-De-tective Hammond.
