Charlie Chaplin’s “City Lights” is half completed. It will be synchronised with music and sound effects, but Charlie will not speak. A feathered wardrobe featured with Evelyn Brent in her portrayal of Feathers in the “Underworld" has been recently resurrected by Miss Brent to use in a brief scene in “Framed,” in which she is now starring at R-K-O studios. Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell are soon to begin work on “High Society Blues." The picture will be directed by David Butler and is an adaptation from a magazine story by Dana Burnett. Louise Fazenda and Lucien Littlefield are among the members of the supporting cast. Jobyna Howland, six feet of comedienne, kngjyn to both London and American audiences, has consented to look down upon Bert tVUeeler and Robert Woolsey, from her superior altitude, in R-K-O’s new musical production, “Radio Revels,” now being filmed in Hollywood. The filming of Reginald Denny’s initial picture for the Sono Art Productions, to be directed by George Crone, will start in the immediate future. The story is a comedy drama, temporarily entitled “The Dark Chapter,” and will feature Miriam Seegar opposite Denny.
