QUICK scoring has been the order x i*i' the dpv lately with O. N. Kingston, one of the most reliable bats New Plymouth has had for «ome time. Playing against , Haweru Old Boys, the ex-Auck- j lander scored 52 not out and in the final match of the Taranaki j championship his second innings total was S2 not out, the latter j score being got together in less j than forty minutes. There was | time when Kingston was wellknown as a Rugby full-back, and j he seems to have applied Rugby j shock tactics to his batting dis- ! Plays. Another All Black who is ! doing well at cricket is Jimmy A*iU» who plays at Masterton for Old Bovs, and is considered one of the best bats in the district j and a quick scorer at all times. .—— .■.■-•-•jrr
