ENGINE TROUBLE

DAYLIGHT LIMITED DELAYED Engine trouble delayed the Daylight Limited express from Wellington yesterday. It was an hour and 20 minutes late in reaching Auckland last evening. The trouble to the engine took place at Ohingaiti, 19 miles south of Taihape and a relief engine had to be obtained from the latter station. None of the lost time could be made up owing to delays at crossings.
